YOUR ROLE AS A TEAM LEADER

Together with your team, you will ensure that Decathlon's growth continues and that all orders reach our customers on time. You will be the engine behind a smoothly running logistics operation and have the opportunity to show your leadership talent in an environment that is constantly moving forward. Together with your team, you will ensure that our logistics processes are taken to the next level, constantly improving the service to our customers. And furthermore, you will have the following responsibilities:

Team management responsibilities

You will directly manage a team of 15 to 25 employees. You will define with them the most relevant organization to delight our sports customers. You will recruit, manage, plan and develop your teammates as dedicated logistic professionals . You will motivate your team mates daily so you make sure they come happy to work. You mobilize your team by giving them meaning, motivation and skills to guarantee short and regular deadlines, lower costs and increase the quality of services.

Operational responsibilities

• Operations management: You will coordinate all logistics activities in our state-of-the-art warehouse.
• Optimisation: You develop and implement strategies to optimize our logistics processes and improve efficiency.
• Cooperation: You work closely with other departments to ensure that our logistics activities run seamlessly.
• Results orientation: You monitor and analyze performance indicators to drive continuous improvements.
• Safety management: You make sure that you and every team member knows the safety procedures. And make sure the work space is safe to work.

We do not care whether you have just graduated or already have experience in managing teams; we would like to welcome you to our warehouse in Tilburg. Your past (work) experiences will be ofcourse a benefit, but it is not the only thing we are looking for. We are curious about your passion & drive. We recruit personalities!

• You can work from Mon-Sun in two shifts, and in high season also working in night shifts
