WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

All products can break, sometimes through use, sometimes due to a manufacturing defect, but fortunately most of Decathlon's products are repairable. In our stores we have workshops that solve many problems, but they send the difficult jobs to the service center. As a technician, you are a true expert who has a lot of product knowledge and you know how to independently carry out complicated repairs. Communication with our stores is also part of your work, because they will sometimes ask for advice and like to stay informed about the state of their repairs.

A product that you have handled will return to the store in perfect condition, making for a happy customer! Our technicians are specialists in camping and watersports, repairing products such as tents, sups and kayaks. By joining our team you will become a top technician with a variety of skills.

WHAT DO ASK FROM YOU?

• You like sports and you are a fit person. Sometimes you have to carry some heavy products or have to move a lot

• You care about the environment. Your first instinct is to repair and not to throw away.

• You like to learn how things work: you can spend hours on YouTube watching technical repair tutorials.
• You also like to explain information to others (colleagues in the service center or in the shops) how things work.
• You like to work in an organized manner.
• You have a creative mindset
• You are interested in becoming a specialist in repairing Camping or water sports products.
• Availability: 16 - 38 hours.
• The repair team works from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 till 17.00

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS

• You are handy and curious to learn new repair methods
• In your application, please explain your technical skills, experience or hobby
• You are also quite handy with the computer, for registration, contact with others and looking up information
• We speak English in our team, but Dutch is a plus

The Repair Team is an international group who carry out all different repairs. Gradually, everyone is looking for their own specialization, and we expect the same from you. Everyone can work independently, but with difficult issues, we work together to find a solution. We are in full development; therefore, there is plenty of room for your ideas.
