Decathlon is searching for a talented Financial Planning & Analysis Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the financial strategies of our Logistics and Circular Economy Business Units. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Planning:

   • Lead the preparation of long-term trajectory and ambition plans, including 5-year business plans with ROI assessments.

   • Update financial models and forecasts in response to strategic changes or ad-hoc requirements.

2. Business Partnership:

   • Serve as the dedicated business partner to the Logistics and Circular Economy leaders, offering strategic insights and financial guidance.

   • Collaborate closely with Global HQ FP&A for Logistics and Circular Economy teams as a sparring partner to drive alignment and cohesion.

3. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

   • Conduct short-term rolling forecasts based on store and e-commerce volumes, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

   • Perform plan-fact analysis and provide regular debriefings to logistics leaders, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

4. Operational Support and Optimization:

   • Actively engage with the local logistics team to enhance forecast accuracy, cost efficiency, and operational processes.

   • Provide ad-hoc analytical support to address business challenges and opportunities.

5. Stakeholder Engagement and Networking:

   • Foster strong relationships within the finance community, particularly within the North/West-Europe Zone, to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

6. Performance Evaluation and Decision Support:

   • Analyze and report on the performance of activities with external partners in the circular center, supporting decision-making to enhance sustainable value creation.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of effectively partnering with cross-functional teams

• You are pro-active, and you take initiatives easily

• You are passionate about sports

• You are fluent in English, Dutch language skills are a plus
