All products can break, but fortunately most of Decathlon's products are repairable. As bike technician (in dutch: fietsmonteur), you are an expert who has product knowledge and you know how to independently carry out sport product repairs. Products we for example repair: Bikes (your main focus point), tents and other outdoor equipment, etc.

Receiving, registering and repairing sport products
Ordering spare parts
Registering and shipping repairs (to stores and our 2nd life department)
Communication with our stores and other stakeholders
Our team is an international group of people who carry out all different repairs for the sport products. Gradually, everyone finds their own specialization and we expect the same from you.
Timeline of your career within Decathlon:
1st year: You will focus on onboarding and learning everything about the job. You will excell in the position and get the opportunity to grow more in technical skills or soft skills.
2nd - 4th year: You grow further in your role. You can discover other opportunities in the company and potentially switch from position
You love to do sports!
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience (in repair). A bike technician school degree is a huge plus
Enthusiasm and motivation to learn and to explain (related to repairs)
You have a strong team spirit and are ready to help wherever the team needs you the most
You like to work in a organized manner and have good communication skills, as you will interact with stores and stakeholders.
You are fluent in English. Dutch communication skills is a plus
Available 32-38 hours
You have the nationality of one of the EU countries and preferably live in a 30 km radius of your circular center in Tilburg. You need a valid visa/work permit to work for us
WORKING HOURS
No late shifts, no weekend shifts: the repair team works Monday to Friday, from 8.30 till 17.00
Starting salary is: €2.605,03
