Your role

As Tactical Purchaser, you generaly will be responsible for the procurement of indirect products and services for Decathlon Digital. These are products and services that are not directly related to product sales, such as IT, HR and marketing. You work closely with various stakeholders within Decathlon, such as the IT, HR and Marketing departments, to close the best purchasing deals. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing purchasing strategies and monitoring purchasing costs.

Therefore, we strive to keep our procurement costs as low as possible, without compromising on the quality of our products and services. Several Decathlon entities operate within the Netherlands. As a Tactical Purchaser at Decathlon, you have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the world. You will help reduce our procurement costs, which allows us to make our products and services more affordable for everyone. You'll also work to make our purchasing more sustainable, giving us a positive impact on the environment.

You will work closely together with the purchases team in The Netherlands and the global team in France. And will report the purchase manager NL.

 

What we expect from you

As a Tactical Buyer at Decathlon, you can count on a challenging and versatile position within a growing company. You see opportunities, work proactively to prevent problems and are able to find the best purchasing solutions together with our colleagues. In addition, you have:

  • A completed HBO education, complemented by at least 2 years of experience in a procurement function
  • NEVI-1 certification (or similar purchase course)
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, Flexible and stress-resistant
  • And you are able to work in a digital environment and able to work independant
  • You will work closely together with the purchases team in The Netherlands and the global team in France.
