To become even more relevant to our customer, Decathlon is building a new international team in Amsterdam that will support our Digital Acceleration Plan by focusing on technological online development and the digitization of our global commercial business model. In order to build this team we aim to recruit the best tech minded talents to strengthen our expertise in the digital international market. 

As we truly believe that if we do good for our people, our people will do good for our business, we are looking for a very experienced, hands-on Senior HR- Business Partner for the role out- & building of this new international digital team in Amsterdam. This team will be part of an ambitious growth plan and will consist of tech & sports minded people with different specialisms in the coming 3 years.

This HR professional has a proven track-record of building new teams from scratch within a global context, who is able to create and implement a solid framework of C&B that supports rapid growth and is in line with local policies and international demand.

The position is based in Amsterdam and will report to the Country People leader and will work closely with the Global Center of Expertise based in France.

Phase 1: Building the team

  • You play a key role in the hiring and pre- and onboarding journey of the new teammates. You will be the first point of contact for new hires if it comes to visa / tax and relocation topics
  • Set up a framework for a set of HR topics requiring local adaptation, all in line with the local team needs
  • Create and follow our local competitive and up to date compensation & benefits package
  • Adapt HR tools to the local requirements and needs

Phase 2: Make it a winning team / Expanding the team

  • Focus on team dynamics / personal development / leadership development
  • Standardize policies / improve framework
  • Bring People topics on the leader agenda
  • Continue phase 1 with improved framework / C&B conditions

 Experience

  • Experience with setting up job frameworks and C&B packages
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements in the Netherlands and of the local CLA’s
  • Highly adaptable and flexible in the phase of changing priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • HR Experience in multinational consumer oriented (B2C) companies (local vs global dynamics).
  • Implementation of growth scenarios in start-up /scale-up of Tech companies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization. Fluency in English and Dutch
