YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS
FINAL STEP BETWEEN FACTORY AND CUSTOMER
You are the last step between the factory that makes our bikes and the customer who will ride them. A bike that has passed through your hands is all set for its first ride. So you really make people happy by making their bike perfectly roadworthy. You do this by correcting minor errors on the bike, such as adjusting brakes, tensioning gear cables and aligning wheels. They are new bikes so it's not about major repairs, but the bikes come from a far and always need some attention after their journey to our warehouse.
DAILY ACTIVITIES
MEET THE TEAM!
Yes, you are probably part of that yourself! We have a rapidly growing team, and you will be working with a maximum of ten people at the same time in our own assembly workshop in our warehouse. You will receive training on bicycle technology and our working method, but we are in full development and there is enough room to bring in your own ideas. You work together with colleagues from logistics who ensure the supply of new bicycles and who count on you for the timely assembly of the bicycles. The team has its own manager (we like to say; leader) who takes care of planning, training and technical assistance!
WORKING FOR DECATHLON = MAKING SPORTS ACCESSIBLE FOR THE MANY
Decathlon's mission is to make the fun and health benefits of sport accessible to everyone in a sustainable way. That's why we want you to be as passionate as we are about having a positive impact on society and the planet through sport. Then it takes no effort to let this be reflected in the decisions you make. We also like to work with people who want to get the best out of themselves, are looking for improvement and can challenge themselves and others. At Decathlon you work in a network structure. This means that there is little hierarchy and that with an independent and proactive attitude you will find your way around Decathlon best.
